6 Month Photo Shoot

Back in August, we had our friend Sara take the girls' 6 month photos. We went out to the Lake Harriet Rose Gardens on a Saturday morning and it sure was beautiful! We had a lot of fun spending the morning with Sara from Sara Bee Photography and Danielle from Izzy Mae Stitches and Style (who helped accessorize the babes). We're all exhausted!

For about a week and a half now, we have all been adjusting to the new schedule. Cory and I are still perfecting the "wake up and get the girls ready" schedule and the girls are adjusting to the "grandma coming to the house on Wednesday" schedule AND the "going to Michelle's house on Thursday and Friday" schedule. It's is all going rather smoothly, but we are all SUPER TIRED! Over time, I know it will get easier. I feel so fortunate to be able to work part time! Here is an example of our tiredness...

Wow, it's been a long time!

Looking at the last post, I have realized it has been a really long time since I've been on here! I guess the whole going back to work thing has been keeping me a bit busy! Speaking of work... it is going great! I am working three days a week teaching 2nd grade and I couldn't be happier!
On to more important things... the girls are 7 months old today! And boy, it sure wasn't easy to keep them still for photos! Here is what they are up to:

• size 2 diapers
• scooting and rolling ALL around
•  escaping from containment units 
• cooing and babbling
• screeching and laughing
• eating 2 meals of solids
• almost sitting up on their own
• jumping in the Jonny Jump Ups
• making funny faces
• napping for 2 hrs in the morning and afternoon
• sleeping 12 hrs through the night on weekends and 10 1/2 on school nights
