We've got a thumb sucker.

Finally.

Snow on Monday, and in the 70s over the weekend. It's about time! The girls enjoyed a picnic dinner with grandma and papa on Saturday and played outside Sunday morning with new chalk and bubbles, and a nice evening walk. We love this weather!

I did it!

I managed to take all four kids out of the house! Go me! I treated myself to a coffee (drive thru of course) and we went to play at Papa Leo's. We even scored lunch out of the deal!

First "real" bath.

Up until today, the poor babes had to be bathed in a bucket. They were not pleased with that experience. Cory came to the rescue and dug out our baby bath tub from the boxes downstairs (yes we've lived here for a year, don't judge!). Ashton wasn't too fond of the pink tub, but enjoyed the nice warm water and shampoo. Emmy wasn't sure about any of it. She may not be my child. They both didn't appreciate the cold air that greeted them when they were finished. Most of all, I love the smell of a warm, freshly shampooed babe... Ahhhhh.

Creative geniuses.

The girls have been surprising me each day with their creativity and imagination. A few days ago they disassembled their baby doll bunk bed and turned it into a "choo choo train", giving rides and all. The bunk bed also doubles as a boat. And
when fully disassembled, a sword fighting game. Great gift Auntie Sheree!

Big Sisters.

Izzy and Ava have been adjusting to their new role of "big sisters". Most of the time they love helping out and holding the babies. And other times they say, "Put my baby down", or "I'm not sharing with my baby." It may be awhile until we are all fully adjusted to our new family... Until then, we'll try to capture the sweetness of it all.
