Well, since the girls are still eating every 3-4 hours, it's kinda hard to do a whole lot. So we tend to stay close to home. Walks to the pond are a daily occurrence, weather permitting of course! When we do stray away, it's quite the production to make sure we have everything we need. One would think we were going away for a week with the amount of stuff we pack! Some of our longer journeys (more than 2 hrs.) include heading down to the nursing home to visit Cory's grandparents, over to grandma's pool for a BBQ or fish fry, or hanging our with friends and family. Oh, and we went to the Como Zoo for the first time this past weekend... that was fun!
Around the house we like to have tummy time and twin time. Yes, there is a difference! Tummy time is, well, playing on the tummies! Twin time is when the girls lay on their backs and play with each other. They're not quite aware of each other yet, but every now and then they catch each others eye or grab an arm or nightie. They like to play in their exersaucers and they're starting to sit in their Bumbo chairs. All of this "baby" lingo, I know, don't worry, you'll catch on! In between all of that playtime, we sing songs, read books (which they LOVE) and of course, NAP! And after a long day of giggles, cries and yawns, both of the girls enjoy a swing ride. But most of all, they love snuggling up with their mama and dad!
